overflow: hidden; Developer T-Shirt

overflow: hidden; clips anything that spills past an element's box. Half the time it's doing what it says — trimming content to fit.

The other half it's quietly load-bearing, containing floats or establishing a new formatting context, which is why removing it sometimes breaks a layout in ways that look unrelated.

Shipping and returns

Shipping costs vary by region, so it's worth giving the delivery total at checkout a quick look before confirming your order. Some variants may show limited availability in certain locations—if fulfilment isn't available in your region, our suppliers will try to ship globally from the nearest facility that can produce that specific item. When this happens, delivery costs may be higher than expected due to the increased distance.

We're constantly reviewing suppliers and expanding fulfilment options, and new routes may open over time.

Understanding overflow: hidden in CSS: Uses and Side Effects

overflow: hidden clips content that extends beyond an element's bounds. It's simple in concept but has side effects beyond clipping—creating block formatting contexts, affecting positioned elements, and hiding focus outlines. Understanding these behaviors prevents unexpected layout issues.
